The idea behind this product is so simple it makes you think "I should have thought of this". It seems that whenever I need to move something heavy there is no one around to help. Using these, I have been able to move many different furniture items, from big sofas to tall bookcases, all by myself. I have only used them on carpeted floors.



The only problem I have encountered using this product is when I need to move the furniture up against the wall and into a tight spot. It becomes difficult to remove the moving men when I'm done. Customer Review: Fairly Comfy Chair

I have had this chair for almost 2 years now, I thought it is a good amount of time to come back and review it. It was easy to put together and holds up well under use. We have found that it isn't the most comfortable for people who are taller who have back trouble. The padding is fairly stiff and therefore doesn't conform to your body shape at all- just stays in it's own shape while you're in it. If we put a couch pillow (throw pillow- not large pillow!) where our lower lumbar area is, it makes the support much better for us. We also use a blanket on the top for some more head support. I'd have liked a bit more give in the cushion, but hey- it is durable, we have been able to work with it ok with the pillow/blanket additions for support. We don't use the ottoman, so I can't comment on that. We've spent hours in this chair from the time our little one was a newborn. The arms of the chair help hold a Boppy Pillow well if you're nursing

This product is great! For the price...it is unbeatable. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant, and i put it together myself in less than 10 mintues. The only compliant i have, which is not a big one at all, is one that i read before i got this glider. My sole compliant is that the arm cushions do not stay in place, but it's not that big of a deal. Comfort wise, i am happy. If your looking for a glider that you just sink into and is super soft....this is not it. The cushions are supportive, but soft enough. The gliding motion is very, very smooth and the ottoman is just as great. I've been using it every night since i got it and i really do love it. For those who cannot afford to pay upwards of $400 or $500 for a rocker/glider...you most certainly should get this one.

Customer Review: Once it's together, it's not bad

The product is nice and serves the purpose that I bought it for, but be warned the instructions are sparse and not totally accurate. It also takes three hands to assemble. Imagine my shock to find out the spacing on the shelves was wrong after I had it assembled. I checked and rechecked. I even had my wife read the instructions and tell me how far apart they said the support rods needed to be just to find out the count was off by one. Not a big deal if you don't need all the rows, unfortunately I needed them otherwise I would not have started over from the beginning.



Now that all the complaining is out of the way and the rack is put together, it seems like a sturdy rack, it holds lots of DVDs and it looks nice. Although what you get for the price seems high, other less sturdy racks cost nearly as much so what else can you do? I guess the final measure is would I do it again if I needed too, probably that's why I gave it 3 stars.

Customer Review: Just what you need if your going to build a dining table

Dining room tables are different in complexity than smaller tables, so its apropos that Taunton chose to put these tables in a separate book from their Tables book. I have both, and have built projects out of both. The Dining Table book deals has a nice layout and design section in the beginning where it describes the minimum and ideal dimensions for tables built for certain numbers of people.



The book contains a nice selections of projects, including a trestle table (pictured on the front cover), a shaker style kitchen table (which I built), various expandable tables, and a boat table constructed using a torsion box.



I would also recommend reading the Tables book by Taunton, as it has a dining room table designed by Frank Klausz which is awesome.

We ordered this for our daughter, who is now 8 months old. She didn't have much use for it for the first little while, other than chewing and drooling on the rings.

Now that she can sit for long periods of time and concentrate on one task, she has learned to take the rings off one at a time. We are working on getting them back on!

This product has been made for years and years (my parents said I had one and so did my husband's parents) and there's definitely a reason!

This has to be the most beautiful book in the series of Arts & Crafts style shop drawings from Robert Lang, and I have them all. I have to say, almost every piece in this book is one where you have to decide that you are going to devote between 6 months and a year of your life to making. I have not yet made this committment, but I already see how reading this book has influenced some of the details on my other work. Gorgeous color plates of these masterpieces are included and everything is printed on archival quality glossy paper. Drawings are clear and descriptive text is concise and well written. Overall I recommend this to any student of Greene and Green (and Peter and John Hall, the craftsmen who actually built most of these pieces for them!)

  This electric blanket is a great deal. The woven pattern really makes it look nice, and it heats up your whole bed almost instantly. It's thicker than most electric blankets, making it seem more like an actual soft comfortable blanket as opposed to a large heating pad. The only thing I wish was different was the color. As far as I know, there is nothing even close to this on the market.



I have had a few of these for many years. None have ever failed. Setup is straightforward and programming is reasonable.



Having the lights automatically adjust for sunrise/sunset is great. If we will be coming home late, we don't need to turn on the front lights before we leave. They will be on when we return.



There is a little bug in the programming. It screws up if it is programmed to turn on before midnight and turn off after midnight. I forget now how it screws up, because I changed mine to turn off just before midnight. Minor problem.



I would like more flexible programming, but that usually comes with complexity. There isn't much space there for a display. My wishlist includes:



1. Be able to set an offset (sunset +/- nn minutes).



2. A random feature where it would vary the actual on/off times by +/- nn minutes.



3. Automatic adjustment for daylight savings. This may be a problem, because the politicians keep dorking around with the the cutover day, so maybe it's better as it is. This also allows me to sych the clock twice a year. Maybe an upgraded model could include a receiver for the time signal from Colorado? :-)



The timer does not keep perfect time, which is surprising. I would think it could use the 60 Hz from the grid to stay perfectly in time like most electric clocks do.



This is one of my favorite gadgets. I am not sure why it is so hard to find.

This product, along with all other critter corner products, is amazing! There are so many little details that you wouldn't expect for a childs toy. My six year old daughter loves Calico Critters and has been collecting them for three years now. Only recently has she become very fascinated with playing pretend with the families in her dollhouse. We got this crib because our son refused to sleep in two of the other "pack and play" style cribs. Fortunately, he took right to this one on the road! Maybe it's because it looks and feels more like his "real" crib.



It is a bit bulky so fortunately our vehicle can handle it (lies flat in the back); otherwise, it would be difficult to use. The mattress is a little flimsy. Overall, though, we are pleased with the quality.

This crib was a lifesaver for us! We live in a small condo and didn't have room for a full-size crib. This was the PERFECT solution. Because it's made of wood, it looks much classier than the other alternatives we considered (which were made of white plastic tubing or were pack-and-plays). It also conforms to all the safety standards for portable cribs.



It was simple to assemble, folds very flat, and can easily roll through doorways. The platform is easy to switch from the upper to the lower position (but this design makes it impossible to put a skirt on the crib unless you are able to sew your own with openings for the levers and the parts of the platform that protrude through the slats). Only one side goes up and down, and it does take two hands to do that... but at 5 feet 5 inches tall I can easily reach in and out without having to raise or lower the side.



It differs from a standard size crib mainly in that it is not as long, so I don't anticipate that our daughter will be able to climb out of it any earlier than she would a standard size crib. We also put my friends' two year old (who is at the 90th percentile for height) into this crib once, and he fit in it just fine.



Like other reviewers, we did buy a two inch portable crib mattress (38 x 24 inches) to replace the thinner mattress that came with the crib. We love the crib so much, however, that this extra expense was no big deal. Of note, two inches is the thickest mattress that is considered safe for this crib.



I don't think this crib would be practical for families looking for something to take in the car on trips, but it's great for those without room for the full-size version or who want something that can be set up and then stored away again quickly (i.e. at Grandma's house).

I haven't put this up yet. But it is sturdy and seems good.

Warning though if your TV isn't vesa standard(mounting hole patterns in the back of tv) then you will need an additional bracket adaptor. it costs $80 and they don't tell you that until you have ordered this one. With both combined it will be cheaper than the stores mounts but I would liked to have known ahead of time and ordered both together.

I got this game for my Godson, thinking it would be a neat toy he could travel with on family trips. I also got one for my husband since we like to travel ourselves and he loves Connect Four. It really is a lot of fun. The game has the same number of spaces as the regular version, but all the pieces are smaller. I really like how the red and black pieces fit in a netted pouch so you don't lose them. It's convenient to zip up and take with you on a trip. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the outside - I would have preferred a plainer cover, but honestly it's fine. Great deal on Amazon too - much cheaper than getting it at the toy store!

My son (just turned 5) really enjoys playing with his 7 yr old sister. They both are great at strategizing by creating their own rows to win while also blocking each other. It's a good way to make children use critical thinking skills and work on focusing continually.
